Margaret and JT wanted their wedding invitation design to encompass their coastal New Hampshire wedding venue, without being too ‘on the nose’ and a 70’s party vibe since they’re having a 70’s cover band. So I combined an abstract ocean-y painting with a super fun and groovy typeface to come up with this design.
I also did their Save the Date, where I focused more on the couple themselves and let the design quietly support their beautiful portrait.
For Margaret’s Bridal Shower we did a spring garden theme, so I designed some florals in the blue of her wedding color and even created a custom cookbook design. I printed and bound the book myself which was a keepsake for Margaret & JT.
