With a winter wedding set in a city of lakes, Elizabeth & Henry wanted to embrace the Madison skyline and incorporate the water and icy vibe for their invitation suite and wedding decor.
I hand drew & watercolored the Madison skyline in a deep blue to reflect both the lakefront setting and the frosty weather. Using a modern, urban typeface and highlighting their names in custom copper foil added contemporary flair. I also created a custom envelope liner pattern based on the iconic chairs at the UW Memorial Union, their reception site.
